Welcome
The Intimacy Institute for sex and relationship therapy.
We – Dr. Jenni Skyler and Daniel Lebowitz – are a husband and wife team offering relationship counseling and clinical sex therapy for over 14 years. We offer teletherapy services throughout the state of Colorado, in-person weekend intensives, and as well as online courses for couples and individuals.
At the Intimacy Institute, we are passionate about sexual health. It is our belief that sexual health is our birthright. As such, we help couples and individuals enhance and optimize sexual function, pleasure, and knowledge of human sexuality, both individually and in relationship.
At this time, we are not accepting new clients until 2025, but check out our online courses!
We are now offering in-person couples therapy in the Aspen, Colorado area. These sessions are for the motivated couple looking to do a multi-day deep dive. Please note that in-person intensives are similar to regular psychotherapy in a professional office space with talk-only approaches.

Our Mission
To give all people permission for pleasure by promoting sexual health and healing.
We offer comprehensive counseling, experiential education and culturally competent training services to help each client deepen their connections with themselves, their partners and their communities.
As seasoned sex therapists, we are clinically trained to provide the best in relationship counseling and sex therapy. Common concerns we address include erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, painful intercourse, sexual desire discrepancy, out-of-control sexual behavior and finding a new normal after chronic illness.
In addition to exploring sexual health, we offer the best in couples therapy, utilizing a blended foundation in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Because sexual experiences often take place in the context of relationships, we feel it is essential to help clients emotionally enrich their relationships with themselves and their loved ones.
What is sex therapy and do I (we) need it?
Do you feel hopeless in a sexless relationship?
Do you struggle to obtain or maintain an erection with a partner?
Do you want to orgasm more easily?
Does your sexual over-activity jeopardize your relationship?
Do you ejaculate more quickly than you’d like?
Does your sexual past haunt your current life?
Do you want to find more meaningful and passionate ways to reconnect with your partner?
If you answered YES to any of the above, sex therapy is for you.
Online Counseling
when and where you need it
Sex therapy is a specialized area of psychotherapy. We offer teletherapy to individuals and couples. Virtual therapy is a great way to get the support you need from the comfort, privacy and safety of your own home.
